The first snowfalls have finally arrived in Sappada, and the magic of winter has officially begun! The landscape has turned white and, with great excitement, the first preparation work has started on the historic cross-country ski trail, which will host the World Masters Cross-Country Ski Championships Sappada–Forni Avoltri 2026 from January 29 to February 6.
The technical staff is already at work grooming the course, which promises to be spectacular—perfectly set within the breathtaking Dolomite scenery that has always distinguished Sappada.
And you—are you starting to warm up your muscles? The adrenaline is rising, the wait is getting shorter… and the track will soon be ready to welcome more than 800 athletes from all over the world, who will bring their energy and enthusiasm to this great celebration of cross-country skiing!
