The course map: Sappada

The Sappada ski stadium is located in the middle of the town, capable of holding thousands of athletes and spectators. This ski stadium, over the years has hosted two editions of World Cup competitions and several editions of National Championships. COURSE MAPS Sappada In 2023 the Sappada ski stadium hosted the EYOF, European Youth Olympic Winter Festival.

5, 7.5 and 10 Kilometers long course.

The course map: Forni Avoltri

There are two alternative slopes available to skiers and not affected by the races, and they are the one in Cima Sappada, 3 km from the race field and one in Piani di Luzza, 8 km from the race field, the competition venue only for the relay teams, but free on the remai- ning days.

The Cross-country skiing in Sappada and Forni Avoltri has a long tradition: here we started practicing the discipline of Nordic skiing more than 70 years ago, and it is for this reason that both locations are best organized to welcome fans of this sport. Both locations have state-of-the-art artificial snow systems that have made it possible to organize high-level interna- tional competitions. In Sappada cross-country skiing is practicable on a track that reaches a total of through the forest and meadows of the valley suitable for both tourists and professionals. There is a Cross-Country Stadium where competitions are held, even at International level.
